Human Ethics Commitee

All researchers who wish to submit their studies related to human health to the Brazilian Journal of Clinical Medicine and Review (BJCMR) must follow the guidelines set by the relevant institutional review board (or equivalent organization) of the institution where the research was conducted, as well as adhere to the latest version of the Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects established by the World Medical Association - Declaration of Helsinki from the World Medical Association. The Methods section of the paper must contain a statement confirming ethical approval and compliance with the Helsinki principles.

To protect subjects' privacy, studies that involve human participants must not disclose any identifying information such as their names, true initials, or recognizable images. Such information should only be included in scientific publications if it is deemed essential and if the patient (or their parent/guardian) has provided written informed consent for its disclosure.
